As well as being able to talk to Scouts and Guides from all over the world ScoutLink Global Youth actively works on extra things to do on ScoutLink to make it more fun. Games We have a selection of games that you can play - Trivia, Hangman, Higher/Lower, Hot Potato, KAOS and UNO! (KAOS and UNO! are available 24/7 in the #youth-kaos and the #youth-uno channels respectively. The other games are in #youth and a Gamer or #youth-team member will start them upon request). We have also written some guides to the games to make them easier to understand. These can be downloaded and adapted to fit the needs of your event. Mainframe's Guide to UNO! - explains how to play the UNO! game in #youth-uno. Our most popular (and difficult) game. Mainframe's Guide to Mainframe - explains how to play all of the games, including UNO! Events The #youth-events team is always busy organising events that take place in #youth. Details of these events are announced as competitions, challenges or in the news, so keep an eye on the #youth website. We also make sure they are announced in the #youth channel topics. So remember to read the topic when you join a channel. Awards ScoutLink Global Youth has developed an award scheme, similar to activity or merit badges, these awards can be worked through at your own pace and cover a variety of different subjects. If you are planning an activity that involves ScoutLink then you may want to look at the #youth-award scheme as it is possible some of the badge scheme for your country and the #youth-award scheme will overlap.
