All About Chil
Hello, my name is Alexander, I am 18 years old, and live in British Columbia, Canada. I am currently an operator for the #youth network of channels and #english.
Real Life
Outside my virtual life, I am probably going to be a paramedic, but really I have no clue what I am going to be.
Right now I work at as a Technical Support Professional.
I eventually want to start my own first aid service company and am currently in the process of planning Rescue One EMS.
I am also working towards a B.A. in Child and Youth Care at the University College of the Fraser Valley
I also am an American and Canadian citizen, born in the State of Utah.
Scouting Life
In Scouting, I am an Assistant Cub Scout Leader for 6th Chilliwack Cubs here in British Columbia.
I started Scouting in 1999 when I was a cub scout with 3rd Chilliwack Cubs. I stayed for one year and then left scouting.
I rejoined Scouting with the 6th Chilliwack Scout Group for the 2006-2007 year as a leader however we had no cubs so I was an inactive leader.
We now have a good group going where I serve as Assistant Cub Scout Leader (Chil).
I also serve as the Cub Group's First Aider and Safety Officer for meetings, activities and camps as well as the webmaster for the 6th Chilliwack Group.
I also coordinate the Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) for the 6th Chilliwack Group as well as nearby groups in which we invite to participate with us.
Other Youth Experience
Other then my Scouting experience, I am Youth Director for my local Knights of Columbus organization and Chief Counsellor for the Squires Youth Program.
Each year, I also work at an outdoor education center in Alberta as a camp volunteer. This year however, I am working as the Evening Activities and Night Duty Coordinator and as a staff member.
In the Church, I teach grade three religion to a class of about 18 students. This is my 3rd year teaching and my 4th year involved in the program, first year I was a teacher assistant.
