Meeting Opened 22:10pm GMT
1. Present: Peter, Hungry_NZ, aussie_lonesQS (Secretary), hexB,

4. Matters Arising from Previous Minutes:
4.1 Failed Competitions
The UNO competition and the BP competition. The UNO
Competition failed because it was not publicized enough, this is
questionable if we should try again now we have a working
webpage and a promo team. The BP competition failed because
peter did not get a response to his email.
5. Matters Arising from #youth Team: none
6. Discussion topics:
6.1 The events team and it’s purpose
Outlined as on the #youth website by Hungry_NZ.
6.2 Country Questions
The idea is that everyone on the team writes five or so questions
about their country or countries surrounding it to add onto one
of the forms of trivia (KAOS or Trivia) in #youth-games.
6.3 On the Fly Trivia
Questions are made by the users playing with a /notice
mainfame GAME <question> <answer> style command, users
answer in the same way, there will be one point per correct
question answered, it could run for a week and the person who
wins gets a prize, (like kicking peter 20 times in a row, I’d
compeat). This was written off because it was too difficult to
manage, and because it would be bound to get plenty of
question abuse while playing.
6.4 #youth website WORDsearch
Certain words would be placed at the bottom of the #youth
website these words (or scrambled letters, depending on
difficulty of the games) when placed in order will make a
sentence, the sentence will instruct the player what to /notice
mainframe to win the game, mainframe will record the results.
This can’t happen now, because we do not have any control over
the #youth website.
6.5 The new competitions and dates are firmed up.
So the promo team can get promoting. The team decides today
so that they have more time to do this. The time length of the
competitions are decided to be a weekend. 20th until the 21st of
January is decided with the first week of Febuary as a backup
weekend. It’s agreed that for the challenge the rest will be
arranged over email.
7. General Business
Certain people complain that they cannot access the Scoutlink, or
#youth website, hexB agrees to see if he can get Tara a turtle from
his friend and Hungry_NZ has been awake for 24 hours solid and
needs some more coffee. Aussie_lonesQS also invented some
words: rover, grasshopper, network, kangaroo, platypus, mice,
wallaby.
