TEAM MEETING SATURDAY 1st September 2007

Meeting Opened 11.19am GMT

1. Present: Peter, Hungry_NZ, aussie_lonesQS (Secretary), Kes (guest)
2. Apologies: none
3. Missing: Sheppygirl
4. Matters Arising from Previous Minutes:
Taswegian has resigned from #youth Events team as he felt he wasn’t able to commit fully due to work and school commitments.
5. Matters Arising from #youth Team: none
6. Discussion topics:
6.1 Taswegian & Sheppygirl
Taswegian = as above & his position to be replaced after Joti.
Sheppygirl = as she has not turned up for the last 2 meetings and no one has heard from her she is to be sent a e-mail asking her why she hasn’t turned up and if she really does want to be on the events team.
6.2 #youths
The #youths event to be held on the 15th September at 12pm GMT ( 1pm UK, 11pm Australian EST, 1am 16/9/07 New Zealand)
6.3 Michael Baden-Powell Survey Competition
#youth chatters to e-mail in survey questions to be answered by Michael Baden-Powell the Events team will then sort through them and collate them with a selection (depending on the amount sent in) being sent to Michael Baden-Powell by Peter on behalf of ScoutLink #youth to fill out and return. Competition to be promoted by promo team, closing date 1 week after Joti, answers to be announced 3 weeks after Joti ** Subject to Michael BP being able to get the answers back by that time.
6.4 Game Competition
Subject to approval a UNO Competition to be held after the #youths on the 29th/30th September running on GMT. Competition for the highest score on the weekend, separate top 10 scores to be set up for the UNO Competition weekend if possible. Hungry_NZ to send out a reminder e-mail the week before, roster to be looked at to ensure at least one Gamer in #youth at any given time for the whole weekend.
6.5 Theme Activity
A themed activity to be looked at after the UNO competition and JOTI to be trialed with regular chatters and if liked hopefully new chatters will like I as well.
7. General Business
