Files:

The following file types can be attached to posts:

  1. zip - compressed file

  2. txt - text file (Notepad)

  3. doc - Word Document

  4. gz - compressed file

  5. pdf - Adobe PDF Files

  6. ppt - PowerPoint File

  7. pps - PowerPoint File

  8. htm - Web page file

  9. html - Web page file


as long as the file is no bigger than 1 Megabyte.

We havn't finished setting these up yet, so we will let you when the restrictions change.

Images:

again we havnt finished changing the settings yet on these.

The current settings are:
Maximum Height: 499pixels
Maximum Width: 499pixels
Maximum size: 1 megabyte.

If you wish to attach a file or image and it wont let you try converting this to a compressed file, zip is probibly best and attaching the zip file.

Windows users can make a zip file by
  1. Opening the folder containg the files using My Computer

  2. Select the file(s) you wish to attach to your post

  3. Right click on one of the selected file(s)

  4. Point to Send To

  5. Sellect: Compressed (Zipped) file

  6. Upload the Compressed file Windows makes.

If your still having problems e-mail your file to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and someone will post the file for you

Either attach as an image if it is small enough, or attach as a compressed file such as a zip.
