I say that you guys should use some custom PHP script along with a nulled forum as such or another CMS like Drupal.

Whilst we didnt put a lot of thought into which CMS to use initally, recreating the website again is not a high priority at the minute.

WE are currently concetration on
* #youth on IRC (changes, more events etc)
* #youth-bots
* Promoting #youth to incrase our users
* and other stuff thats not public yet

So, whilst, in the future, #youth will review #youth-website and comments are appriciated, dont expect to see any big changes in the short to medium term.

Sorry if I sounded rather negative towards surgestions for improvment to this website when I replied. I was half asleep at the time.

This website whent live just before JOTI 2007 and replaced the custom scripted website for #youth.

The old website did, at one point, have interactive features such as a forum. However, due to mistakes in the coding that left security vunerabilities all the interactive features had been stripped out.

For the new ScoutLink Global Youth Website, this one, we completly rewrote ALL the content for the site, adding many new pages than before, the old site was limited in how many pages we could have.

As this website was a complete remake of the #youth-website and has not been in place for 6 months yet - as well as taking a lot of effort to create. I hope you can see why I am a little reluptant to put effort into redoing the #youth-website again.

Certinatly this website isnt perfect, however I doubt it would be posible to make a perfect website.

Aditionally, as the website has been in place for such a short time we are not really in a position to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the website currently.

Thefore I hope you will forgive me in wantint to put resources into improving other areas of #youth and come back to the #youth-website in the furture.
