hi all,

As you may of noticed from my other post Where would you like to see ScoutLink in 3 years? ScoutLink is looking into its future a bit at the minute.

Another question on TheTeam e-mail list (I explained about that on my other post so I won't explain it here) is about how open the running of ScoutLink appears and if we have enough information on what is going on from Global ScoutLink Council.

A lot of the talk is about the information ScoutLink Operators get about the council. But this lead me to think:

* Do none-ops get enough information about the council?
* If you don't - what would you like to know?

and, as well as this -

* Do none-ops get enough information about the #youth-team?
* If you don't - what would you like to know?

(oh - the intention of this post is not to upset people, get people angry or anything. Just wondering what the youth users of ScoutLink feel about how we currently run and look into posible ways of making ScoutLink better in the future.)

ok here is my opinion:

Scoutlink Council:

ok the truth is peter if you didn't but that e-mail in the #youth last time i wouldn't know that was decided in the council meting. My opinion is a little more news from the council maybe not every detail that was sed in the meting but atleast something. if you go to the sl main page you have a council minutes page there hasn't been any new minutes since 2006 a little update would be nice every mounth.

Youth-team:

first off i don't like the idea of a op with a broom ( just kidding) op back to the seriuos part.
i have no problem with the youth-team (execpt for the coord he smels) i read the team minutes and get all i need to know and sometimes more.

this is my opinion.
