ScoutLink - We Connect Scouts and Guides Using Internet Services, seems like a good idea to tell you how to chat with us as that's the whole point of us There are several different ways to chat with us, I'll explain them in order of the most popular to lest popular (at time of writing). Real time text based chat ScoutLink IRC the original and the first part of ScoutLink. Users are in channels, these channels are either for language or interest (#youth counts as interest). If you haven't used IRC before, or want to find out a bit more then take a look at our guide to IRC. If you have used IRC before then head to chat.scoutlink.net on port 6667 with your IRC client if you have one or try one of our webchats. > Best webchat (needs Java) The #youth-forums These allow you to post messages for people to see and reply to later. > Go to the #youth-forums now Real time voice chat ScoutLink TeamSpeak allows you to talk to other users of ScoutLink using your voices. (You need a microphone and sound on your computer to use this.) > See who is on ScoutLink TeamSpeak Social Networks Social Networking websites allow you to stay in touch with friends and also with ScoutLink Global Youth. > Details of our Social Network Groups USENET USENET is like a world wide forum where many, many different topics are discussed. ScoutLink has several groups on USENET for chatting about anything scouting or guiding related. We also have our own usenet server news.scoutlink.net. If you have used USENET before then you can find us under scout.org.scoutlink. > Latest scout.org.scoutlink.forum.english posts
